Another important portion of standardization is rationalization of contract conditions for Trenchless Technology Contracts. This can bring greater transparency in the procurement process. In its absence apart from bad contracts incomplete projects also occur. Realizing the need for such Harmonization, IndSTT has conducted several projects. Major Actions taken or under progress in this case are:

1. Rationalization and Standardization of Contract Conditions for Construction Contracts employing Trenchless Technology;

2. Development of Conditions in Construction Contracts employing Trenchless Technology;

3. Development of Schedule of rates for Trenchless Technology;

4. Development of Systems for Analysis of Rates ;

5. Establishing the Working Group to Develop Specifications and Standards of Trenchless Techniques to suit Indian Conditions.
