IndSTT Visiting Faculty for Post Diploma in Trenchless Technology

 

Under a memorandum of understanding with Government of Haryana, CIDC together with IndSTT is introducing post diploma certificate programme in Trenchless Technology at Government Polytechnics with 30 intakes on self financing basis. The Program is starting from 17-09-2007 at Government Polytechnic Nilokheri and Government Polytechnic Ambala under State Board of Technical Education, Government of Haryana (SBTE).

 

Based on the technique application requirements and the stakeholders employment policies the course shall be focused at following five trenchless techniques: Moling, Pipe Ramming, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Microtunneling and Pipe Bursting and depending upon the sponsorships/requirements received for respective technique, the batch strength would be finalized.

 

In order to provide the practical exposure to students, it is proposed to invite Trenchless Stakeholders to join IndSTT in educating these students as IndSTT Visiting Faculty Group Member. The stakeholders would be required to conduct classes at the identified polytechnics either by visiting or through Video conferencing so that one can teach the boys from his or her own office as well. The Video Conferencing Facilities shall be available at the identified polytechnics making it convenient for people based at faraway locations to join IndSTT in this endeavor.

                                                                                                                      

The process for becoming this IndSTT Visiting Faculty Group Member would be as follows:

 

  1. View the Invitation Notice and acquaint yourself with the proposal. Click Here to View.

  2. Download the Application form and information Booklet from INDSTT/CIDC website. Click Here to Download.

  3. Prepare the application letter in the suggested format enclosing copies of the relevant certificates/testimonials.

  4. Send the same to CIDC/IndSTT by 31st August, 2007.

Suitable candidates shall be selected on the basis of the details provided. All selected candidates shall be designated as IndSTT Visiting Faculty Group Member (IVF Group Member) and required to perform accordingly.

 

Selected candidates shall be invited to conduct the proposed classes by the IndSTT Secretariat on the basis of course exigencies, on time to time basis.

 

Based on the above premise applications are now invited from interested persons to join the IndSTT Visiting Faculty Group Membership.
