Indian Society for Trenchless Technology (IndSTT) was set up with the objective
of advancement of the trenchless engineering profession in various subsurface
infrastructure disciplines like water, sewerage and drainage, telecommunications
and power, oil & gas, and pollution control networks. To achieve this objective,
IndSTT consistently promotes the Trenchless Technology (TT) in India and other
South Asian nations by introducing and nurturing the growth of TT applications in
this region with the designers, engineers, academicians and contracting service
providers.
The IndSTT Excellence Awards have been constituted to attract the most
talented engineers, designers and contracting service providers in the respective
four sectors which will be instrumental for TT promotion in India.
The objectives:
1. To facilitate growth and development of TT engineering profession
through articulation of innovative propositions from the fraternity.
2. To evolve & develop need based technologies and techniques.
3. To nurture the professional growth of the practitioners at execution level
4. To evolve & develop synergy, for adoption, absorption and eventual
implementation of better practices.
5. To evolve a long-term plan for shaping up professional development in TT
engineering/technology through networking.
6. To evolve a strategy to attract the best talent to join the profession of
